This certificate complies with the purpose of protecting current international markets through
the Phytosanitary Certification of export plant products, complying with the phytosanitary
regulations established by the Plant Protection Organization (NPPO) of importing countries.
It is an official document issued by SENASA, it certifies that plants and plant products have
been inspected in accordance with appropriate procedures and are considered free of
quarantine pests and practically free of other harmful pests, taking into account the current
phytosanitary regulations of the importing country, in our case Peru.
The Phytosanitary Certificate is a trade facilitator, but it is not a business document. It contains
